Every VBC email, one voice

Messages from VBC now look and behave the same wherever they arrive.

Consistent notices by email

Every message VBC sends shares one design, so owners recognize a genuine association notice at a glance instead of wondering whether it is spam — and it reads the same on a phone as in a desktop inbox.

Everyone

One delivery path for every message

All VBC mail follows a single, monitored route. If an owner says they never received a notice, you can confirm what was sent and when, which is exactly what Florida's notice requirements ask you to prove.

v1.15.0

You decide who gets in

The people who run an association now have direct, immediate control over who can reach their building's records.

Control who has access

When a board member steps down or a unit changes hands, you can withdraw access yourself, immediately, and handle several people in one pass — no support ticket, no waiting, no former board member still holding the keys.

Property managers Board members VBC staff

Take back an invitation

An invitation sent to the wrong address can be cancelled shortly after it goes out, so a typo in an email never turns into a stranger with access to your building's records.

Property managers Board members VBC staff

Sign someone out everywhere

If a phone is lost or stolen, an authorized operator can end that person's sessions on every device at once — without removing them from the building, so they simply sign in again on the replacement.

Property managers VBC staff

Access to VBC and access to a building are separate

Signing in to VBC no longer implies access to any particular building. For anyone involved with more than one association, this means what you can open is exactly what you have been granted, building by building.

v1.14.0

Directory privacy and smoother meetings

This release tightened what the directory reveals about a unit and made meeting pages easier to work through.

Unit status stays private

Whether a unit is occupied, rented, or sitting empty is shown only to the roles entitled to know. Neighbors cannot browse who is away, and each unit appears once instead of repeated, so the directory reads as a clean list.

Owners Tenants Board members Property managers

Clearer meeting pages

Meeting actions sit where you expect and no longer cover the details underneath, so posting an agenda or attaching minutes takes a few taps rather than a fight with the screen.

v1.13.0

One dashboard for your building

The separate overview screens and record tables became a single page that answers what is going on in this building right now.

A single building dashboard

One page answers what is going on in this building right now, replacing a sparse overview beside a long table. You stop hunting across screens for the answer, and it reads as well on a phone in the parking lot as on a computer at home.

Everyone

The building timeline, on the dashboard

A building's history sits directly on its dashboard, so the context you need before a decision is the first thing you see instead of something you have to go looking for.

Board members Property managers Owners Tenants

Figures you can quote

Dashboard numbers come straight from the building's own records, so you can repeat them in a meeting without checking them first. Screens with nothing to show now say so plainly instead of looking broken.

Everyone
v1.12.0

Your building's history, and a directory you can print

VBC can now show how a building got to where it is, using the association's own records.

Building timeline

Each building has a timeline of what happened and when — inspections, projects, decisions — with the document behind every entry. A new board member can catch up in an afternoon instead of a year.

Board members Property managers Owners Tenants

A building page that answers residents first

The page leads with what an owner or tenant actually came to find, so a resident gets their answer without scrolling past operator detail that was never meant for them.

Owners Tenants Board members Property managers

Printable building directory

Download a branded directory as a PDF for a meeting, a binder, or the emergency contact sheet by the door — so the information is still at hand during a storm, when nobody is signing in to anything.

Board members Property managers

Directory accuracy reviews

A routine way to confirm that unit, owner, and board records still match reality. It keeps a notice from going to someone who sold two years ago, and keeps your records defensible if they are ever questioned.

v1.11.0

Documents that file themselves, accurately

Uploaded records are now categorized and dated far more reliably, and the ones VBC is unsure about are raised for a person instead of filed quietly.

More accurate titles, categories, and dates

VBC reads a document properly before filing it, including telling apart the year a record was issued from a year merely named in its title. A budget adopted in late 2023 for 2024 lands in 2023, where you will actually look for it.

Property managers VBC staff Board members

A second look at the hard ones

When the first pass is unsure, the document automatically gets a closer read. Only what still cannot be resolved reaches a person, so your review time goes to the handful of records that genuinely need judgment.

Property managers VBC staff

Large uploads hold up

Hand over a decade of records at once and the batch finishes. If a file does fail, you are told at the time — so nothing goes quietly missing and turns up absent years later when an owner asks for it.

v1.10.1

Your records, independently checked

An outside security review went through VBC's access rules line by line, and every confirmed finding was closed.

Reviewed by someone other than us

VBC's access boundaries were examined by an independent security review rather than only by the team that built them, and every confirmed finding was fixed. Your association's records stay private because that was tested, not just intended.

Everyone

Checks that run after every update

Automated security checks now run against the live platform after each release. If a future change would weaken the wall between your building's records and anyone else's, it is caught the same day instead of at the next annual review.

Everyone

Kept current against known risks

The software VBC is built on is patched as soon as new risks are published, so the platform holding your documents does not quietly fall behind while everything appears to work fine.

Everyone
v1.10.0

A calmer, denser VBC

The whole platform was restyled to show more of what matters with less scrolling.

A lighter, denser layout

More of the useful information fits on one view, so you scroll less and find things faster — which matters most on a phone. Resident resources now match the rest of VBC instead of feeling like a separate product.

Everyone

Activity on a member's profile

A directory profile shows that person's recent activity in the building, so you can tell at a glance who is actively involved and who to ask — useful when you are new to a board and do not yet know the room.

Board members Property managers

Shared pages look right

Photo headers on shared building pages display properly, and the directory's board filter returns the people it promises — so the page you send to an owner or a realtor reflects well on the association.

Everyone
v1.9.0

Clearer records of who belongs to a building

This release made it easier to see who currently belongs to a building, and made sure messages only go to people who can actually receive them.

Current members and board roles

See who belongs to a building and set board roles in one place. When the board turns over, the new officers are recorded in minutes rather than reconstructed from memory and old emails.

Property managers Board members VBC staff

Corrected units and contact details

Fix a unit assignment the moment someone moves, and phone numbers read consistently everywhere they appear — so the number on the emergency list is one you can actually dial.

Property managers VBC staff

Messages reach real members only

Announcements go only to people who have been invited and can genuinely sign in. Your delivery counts mean something, and no notice disappears into a record nobody ever activated.

v1.8.0

Online applications, from start to filing

Rental and purchase applications can now move through one guided online process instead of a chain of emails and paper forms.

Guided rental and purchase applications

Applicants answer clear questions online and receive a finished PDF that matches the association's filing format.

Applicants Property managers Board members

Save and continue on another device

An applicant can request a secure resume link by email and continue later without starting over.

Applicants

Application intake and unit matching

Operators can match a submission to the right unit, file the completed PDF, and start an application for someone who needs help.

Property managers VBC staff

Application activity report

Authorized operators can see what was submitted, for which building, and where each application stands.

v1.7.0

VBC on your phone, with useful updates

Vista Blue Connect now feels more like an app on a phone and can keep members informed when something they follow changes.

Install VBC like an app

Members can add VBC to their phone or tablet home screen for quicker access, without visiting an app store.

Everyone

Push notifications

Members can choose to receive timely device notifications from VBC and manage that choice from their profile.

Owners Tenants Board members Property managers

Request status updates

The person who submits a request is automatically kept in the loop when its status changes.

Owners Tenants Property managers

v1.6.0

Clearer answers, records, and member tools

This release made everyday information easier to understand and gave operators better ways to support members.

VBC Legal conversations

Board members and managers can ask a Florida association question, see the answer appear as it is prepared, and ask a follow-up without repeating the full story.

Board members Property managers

Meeting recording uploads

Managers can attach large audio or video recordings to a completed meeting so authorized members can find the recording beside the meeting details.

Property managers Board members Owners Tenants

Simpler profiles and member records

Members can manage their information and notification choices more easily, while authorized staff can correct a record when help is needed.

Owners Tenants Board members Property managers VBC staff

Clearer document categories

Official governing documents, forms, notices, and other records are separated more carefully, making the library easier to browse and safer to publish.

Everyone
v1.5.0

Florida compliance workspace

VBC added one place for association leaders to see important Florida requirements and record the work behind them.

Compliance checklist

Boards and managers can see which obligations apply to a building and track the items that still need attention.

Board members Property managers

Board education log

Authorized operators can record board education and certification activity instead of tracking it in a separate spreadsheet.

Board members Property managers

Rule-by-rule notification settings

Managers can review each compliance rule in plain language and prepare the reminder settings that fit the association.

v1.4.1

Scanned paper becomes searchable

Decades of photocopied records are no longer just pictures of pages — VBC now reads the words inside them.

Search inside scanned documents

VBC reads the text inside a scan, so a 1998 set of minutes can be found by typing a phrase from the middle of page four. The boxes in the closet stop being a filing problem and start being a searchable archive.

Owners Tenants Board members Property managers

Digital files are ready in seconds

Documents that already contain text skip the slow reading step entirely, so most uploads are searchable almost immediately instead of everything waiting behind the hardest scan in the batch.

Property managers VBC staff

A difficult file no longer holds up the rest

If one damaged or unreadable page cannot be processed, it is set aside and flagged rather than retried forever. The other documents in your upload finish and become available.

Property managers VBC staff
v1.4.0

A public front door for every building

Associations can share the information that should be public without forcing owners, buyers, or real estate professionals to sign in.

Public building website

Each enabled association gets a simple public page for building information, contacts, notices, and approved public records.

Public visitors Owners Tenants Board members

Public records that open without a login

Visitors can read the records intentionally published for the public while private building documents stay protected.

Public visitors Property managers Board members

A clearer mobile menu and larger controls make the main VBC sections easier to use on smaller screens.

Everyone
v1.3.0

Faster setup and calmer daily work

This milestone connected building setup, document intake, and the main operating workflows into a more consistent experience.

Guided building setup

VBC staff can add a building, paste or import its units and people, prepare documents, preview the public page, and invite members from one guided flow.

VBC staff Property managers

Bulk document intake and review

Operators can upload many records together, review the suggested titles and categories, and publish only when the information is ready.

Property managers VBC staff

Document versions

A newer file can be added as another version of the same record, preserving its history instead of overwriting it.

Property managers Board members

One home for each kind of work

Documents, announcements, meetings, requests, people, units, and leases each have one clear place, with actions shown only to the roles allowed to use them.

Everyone
v1.2.0

Requests, meetings, and public notices

Residents gained a direct way to ask for help, while association operators gained practical tools for meetings, announcements, leases, and public records.

Resident requests with a conversation

Residents can submit a maintenance request or question and continue the conversation in one thread instead of chasing emails and phone calls.

Owners Tenants Property managers

Request triage for operators

Managers can filter incoming requests, assign priorities, update status, and keep private staff notes separate from the resident conversation.

Property managers VBC staff

Meeting and announcement tools

Authorized operators can schedule meetings, publish announcements, and use a Florida-focused checklist when preparing meeting notices.
